Epichem Supporting WA Innovators Applying for the FHRI Innovation Seed Fund 2025–26

The Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund has opened the Innovation Seed Fund 2025–26, offering up to $1.5 million to help WA innovators develop and commercialise new health technologies - including novel therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, devices and digital health solutions.

If your project involves small molecules, medicinal chemistry or chemistry-driven innovation, Epichem can help strengthen your proposal and deliver the chemistry required for early-stage development.

How Epichem Supports FHRI Applicants

As a 100% WA-based CRO, Epichem can act as a subcontractor or collaboration partner for ISF applicants, delivering high-quality small-molecule chemistry from our Perth laboratories.

We can support your application with:

  • Hit-to-lead & lead optimisation for small-molecule therapeutics

  • Custom synthesis & scalable route development

  • Analytical, characterisation & reference-material capabilities

  • WA-based R&D, aligning with FHRI’s requirement to build and retain capability within the State

  • Fast scoping & budgeting for grant applications

Our team can help you articulate realistic chemistry work packages, timelines and costings for your application - ensuring your proposal is competitive and technically sound.

Funding & Key Dates

  • Grant Amounts: Up to $1.5M (depending on project stream)

  • Who Can Apply: WA-based innovators developing devices, diagnostics, digital health, therapeutics or vaccines
